Sometimes I pinch myself that I get to design my dream houses for a living. Boy do I love this house!   I’m so excited to be sharing with you my latest Homearama Model Home The Captiva from Pride Mark Homes located at  the picturesque Wilshire Hill in Pittsford, NY.  Homeowners in search for a vacation like retreat will book a long term reservation at the Captiva. This rustic farmhouse inspired creation is designed to rejuvenate and inspire with its bright open floor plan emphasizing casual living with all the bells and whistles.   With porches anchoring the front and backside, this two bedroom 2 bath resident is sure to turn heads of admirers who are eager to explore this 2,013 square foot beautiful stone, shake, and siding home.

The Homearama Model Home focal point is it’s spacious kitchen that opens up to the great room providing a fantastic venue for hosting large gatherings with family and friends. Like a gracious host, the kitchen offers a welcoming traffic flow around a large islands. Beautiful glazed cabinetry, quartz counters, stunning lighting and professional grade appliances contribute to this outstanding culinary space which also boasts easy access to a large mudroom, spacious laundry with sink, and two car garage. 

Statement Kitchen Hood

I just love this new cabinet finish from INDE Showplace cabinets. Its a white cabinet with a gray graphite glaze. I nice alternative to the stark white. I chose this in a matte finish and the gray highlights accentuate the cabinets details.  Quartz Countertops in Calcutta Vicenza with an eased edge. Richelieu Classic Metal drop pulls and knobs in oiled rub bronze.

The Laundry Room

The laundry cabinets are made from Wellborn in the Hancock door style painted in their signature Pebble color. Faux wood grained laminate counter in Wilsoart’s WHITE BARN. Richelieu classic metal and crystal knobs. Open shelving for easy access to supplies! 

Covered Porch

The heart of The Captiva Homearama Model Home is the stone two-sided fireplace ( Beachwalk Ledger Stone) that can be seen from almost every room in the house. Just beyond the hearth room a huge covered porch beckons homeowners to enjoy views of the beautifully landscaped yard and cool summer breezes in the shade. The layout provides an easy transition to get closer to Mother Nature through two sets of French doors. This focal hearth invites friends to enjoy the warmth of the great room and brings the outdoors. A live edge console table by Jeff Hathway is the perfect place for all your entertaining. 

This gorgeous custom rustic gray washed coffee table created by Paul Coloyeras is built to last. 

The Master Bedroom

The master suite features large windows with views of the beautifully landscaped backyard and a Hartsville 5 light chandelier in chalk white finish by Murray Feiss. Seagrass and distress cream furniture collection from Victor Furniture. Paisley bedding, pillows and mirror from HomeGoods.

The Master Bathroom

The master bath is a simply gorgeous escape accented with spa like features and is appointed with a large beautiful tile walk in shower. oversized beveled white subway tiles and carrera marble floor and accents give this a clean and classic look. A large double sink vanity and spacious walk-in closet offers continued function and style with creative storage solutions.  Showplace cabinetry in Hickory Covington Wide with a Lockport Gray wash in Matte Finish.  Nickel Richelieu cabinet hardware. Classic Kichler Pocelona vanity lights in chrome finish with opal glass shine light on the Carrera Marble counter with an eased edge. Kohler Bancroft Chrome faucets.

 An additional bedroom is located on the main level. Sun flows into this spacious bright room while at night the room is lit by the Clayton made by Progress for the Thomasville Collection.

Guest Bathroom

The Main Bath cabinetry is Showplace Galena in Dovetail paint with a vintage distressed matte finish. Absolute black honed granite countertop and a Mansfield Monet Porcelain vessel sink and Kohler Victorian waterfall faucet.  The farmhouse coastal theme carries into this main bath with whimsical rustic metal fish fins from Wisteria Flowers and Gifts. 

A rustic sliding barn door announces a cozy office inspiring views of the front porch and creates an ideal space in which to work from home. 

Color is splashed through the home with framed landscape artwork by Renee Simone Lee.
