How to incorporate modern farmhouse features to your new and existing home

Every once in a while I get called in on a once in a lifetime interior design job.

Welcome to the historic Hotel Utica in Utica, NY. Built in 1912, this was the first hotel to sell beer after prohibition!

... And some of the most famous have stayed here. Frankin Delano Roosevelt, Robert Kennedy, Judy Garland, Amelia Earhart, Jackie Robinson, Johnny Cash and more!

So I had some big shoes to fill. We selected new paint colors, decor, comfortable stylish furniture....

Added modern elements and decor  to compliment it's stunning turn of the century architecture.

It's restaurant ICONIC is just as iconic as the 200 room hotel and it's  famous guest list.

In 2001 she got a $13 million dollar facelift!

We made plans for a few special features like a walk in wine room.

And turning this dining space into a chic cocktail lounge

Like this!  We added comfortable swivel chairs and gold cocktail tables.
