handmade turkish rugs from Revival rugs that don't cost a fortune

Revival Rugs

It’s no secret I am obsessed with rugs. Rugs can make or break a room and a quality hand crafted carpet can last years.  After discovering Revival Rugs on Instagram I knew I had to own one of their artisan Turkish rugs for myself!

 Quality That Stands Out

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to tell the difference between hand made and mass produced rugs.  Revival rugs is the only online direct to consumer vintage rug shop specializing in artisan, one-of-a-kind handmade Turkish rugs. Imagine finding the rug of your dreams plus you have the only one in the world?  How amazing is that?  After spending close to an hour on Revival Rugs narrowing down my favorites, I fell in love with a turquoise beauty. I chose the Innocenzia, a  6’8″ x 9’8″ one-of-kind handwoven and hand knotted rug crafted in Isparta, Turkey.

the Turkish rug comes folded up in a cardboard suitcase.

It arrived just days later in a sturdy cardboard suitcase. Opening up the box was equivalent to unwrapping that special Christmas present.  It was neatly folded and wrapped in craft paper with a note tucked inside. At that point, I knew that Revival Rugs was different from other rugs companies.  This company genuinely cared about a consumer’s interest in quality affordable rugs. I quickly unfolded her to discover that she was prettier in person than what I saw online.

Statement Rugs That WOW

During Covid-19 quarantine we spent a great deal of time at home. We had recently renovated our third floor and converted a dark, cob web filled, unused space into bright inviting useful square footage.  The hues in this unique piece of art inspired me to redecorate the dormer section of our third floor.  Now, at the top of the stairs awaits a cozy spot anchored by our awesome heirloom Revival Rug.

the turquoise vintage faded rug is the focal point in this small but cozy sitting area decorated with white garden stools and a navy blue sofa.

It’s quiet, cozy and intimate thus becoming a favorite spot for us to escape. It is enhanced by the southern exposure and provides a place for quiet relaxation. The Revival Rug imports cooling tones and a peaceful design. It pulls together the room with subtle accents and hints of ancient crafts from the world’s foremost rug makers.

The Innocenzia is a piece of art. Each time we look at the rug it shows us something different. Not only is our Revival Rug a thing of beauty but is built to stand the test of time and will become a family heirloom. We couldn’t be happier.  Now to find that one-of-kind special rug for our living room!
