Gather your Supplies

5.  brushes, roller         & tray

make sure your wood floor is sanded down and thoroughly clean

SKETCH IT OUT

You know the saying... measure twice and draw once. use a straight edge and T-square for the perfect check

time to PAINT

Using the lighter of the two colors brush or roll paint into every other square.

Let dry overnight

next up take a small artist brush and cut in with the other color. Then roll inside your painted square for full coverage.

The finishing touch

Protect your artistry with several coats of a water-based sealant. Let dry at least 48 hours before walking on or moving in furniture.
