Saying goodbye to 2016 will be bittersweet but I’m not looking back! It was a year of great fun, exciting design and painting projects. I thought I would recap my most liked images from Instagram and share my 2016 portfolio in review! I cannot express how grateful I am for all of you who take the time our of your busy lives to follow, comment, and share my work. This little sweetheart of a guest tube vase made quite a splash at Homearama this year. Each day I changes the flowers and I cannot tell you how may people fell in love with it. It moves to any shape you want and was available at Wisteria Flowers and Gifts. I ad the best time when my client wanted to turn the formal living room into a chic home mom office. Painted oversized moroccan quatrefoil walls and graphic patterns brought this room to life. I will no longer put up Christmas tree lights again after purchasing this pre lit beauty from King Of Christmas. It was also the first year of decorating our master bedroom. This image captures so much of this grand open floor plan home that I designed for a bachelor. I am happy to report that he didn’t stay a bachelor for too long after his house was finished!

#20 The white and gray kitchen of the Wilshire Hill model home in Pittsford NY. the builders spared no expenses when building this home. It’s space to say this is my dream home. I coined the design Nautical Nomad. I best described it as the home of a Newport sailor that has traveled the world and collected global inspirations and added them to his coastal designed home. Helping this mom turn her cozy home into a coastal inspired retreat was one of my highlights. The best part was that I made a wonderful friend in the process!
Mixing styles in this dining room was so much fun. Working with clients who trust my vision is so encouraging. Sometimes they come out better than what I see in my head…. And sometimes I want to move right in!
If you’ve been following me then you know that Summers are spent at our small lake house on Honeoye Lake. We affectionately call it the Itsy Bitsy Cottage. This 745 sq. foot is our favorite place to gather on the weekends to unplug. You should see the before pictures of this kitchen that we renovated on a shoestring..
