Framing ✔️roofing ✔️town inspection ✔️ windows ✔️ plumbing ✔️My favorite is the round porthole window in the great room. 🫶🏼🤩 We’re just hoping to get the siding installed before the heavy snow arrives. Nail by nail, board by board, concrete poured. Welcome to the house that built me. After helping hundreds of other build their dream, it’s now our time! We couldn’t be more excited. Surprisingly the footprint is just a little bit larger than our last place but the ceiling height from 7 foot ceilings to 9+ makes all the difference! I don’t even know how tall the great room will be! But there’ll be a surprise addition that I’m so excited for. Too many square elements… 🤭 For those who’ve built before drop me any suggestions! NO REGRETS! One room is better than two! An original galley kitchen with no appliances and a 100 square foot dining room separated by wall was not my dream space…. Until the wall came down. 🔨 I utilized every square inch and packed it with my favorite finishes, appliances, and furniture. Now we can entertain and seat 8 in our kitchen. We live here as I joke the kitchen is my office. I hand painted the hood to match our Subzero fridge. Carved out a cookbook and charcuterie board nook. Fit in a pantry and appliances cabinet. No regrets. 🤍 WORTH THE WAIT. .
